all right, I am just starting my conversion. While i was reading a few post, i have a crazy thought of making my 86 4x4 s10 blazer into a awd. i want to keep the manual trans. so if it is posable. how hard would it be to make my blazer an awd blazer?

AWD transfer case from a Astro van or AWD newer blazer.or Olds. I believe all the adapters bolt right up.

the front drivehsaft/differential mounting is also different, so you will need to either mix and match parts to make the front differential work, or you can just get a new front diff/front driveshaft and the TC. I tried doing this, but the initial investment of $1000+ for everything is not easy. Unless you can find a wrecked 91-92 bravada, some astros, or of cours SYTY. All junkyards that know anything know that SYTY is popular, so prices are sky high around here. Most places do not even have the parts.
