truck specs

Wow, I\'ve been around this long and just now thought of this. For the suggestions section, I would like to suggest a section in the member profiles or maybe a separate site page or something that each member\'s truck/engine specs could be posted on. I can not tell you how many times I will read posts on member\'s trucks and wonder to myself what their specs are and then we have to ask and later forget and ask again, etc. Back in the day there weren\'t many members around and we all kinda knew eachothers trucks but now it\'s growing and nice to see but it\'s harder to keep track of everyone. I realize some people may want to keep their exact specs hush hush or whatever but I know a lot would be happy to share their recipe\'s and I think it would be very helpful and beneficial! I tried to put mine in my extra info but it won\'t fit all of it. I was thinking maybe even a templated layout like rear end:, transmission:, heads:, cam:, cooling, etc. It gives the rest of us a good idea of what we\'re dealing with when someone asks a question without having to reask the person their truck info in order to answer. Maybe even add a button to the forum post\'s that goes to specs, just like how there\'s profile, edit, etc. I dunno, just spittin out ideas here.



Anyone agree, or I am a crazy out on a limb here?

Overall I don\'t think its a bad idea. It would be eaiser to figure out what some people are talking about when then ask questions about thier truck andf they forget to put information in the forum listing.

Usually I view the pics, if i\'m not totaly sure what there talking about. Sometimes it work and ya know, some times it don\'t.

Some other eople might say it\'s just cause you want to build a truck like mine! But hey we all doi have the same 10 trucks!

Yeah, that would be great.... maybe click on an icon, (like the camera icon) to get to a Guy/gal\'s specs. But in the meanwhile, I guess we could simply post our gallery pix with description (specs) with each pic. Not sure, but I think the text allowed with each pic is limited though....

that sounds like a good list to me. maybe add hp/tq next to the ET/mph for those who know or estimate. i know that a lot of people wont know real hp/tq or even track times but some of us might http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif
