well really... the silverado ss is kind of a weak effort dodge just released their srt/10 truck with the lowered suspension 20\'s and the viper drivetrain... werer talkin 500+ hp.. bring on the ferarri\'s and corvette\'s lets kick some ass with a cord of firewood in the bed plus this new dodge pulled .98 g\'s on a skidpad... like seriously that compares with a corvette... all us chevy guys can hope for is that the 405hp zo6 engine makes it to the ssr...... if you guys pick up one of the past issues of truckin\' you\'ll find a article in it about the new chevy concept trucks... for example a 400hp odd fire 4.3 in a... wait for it... s-10 extream!!! just imagine if that went itno production and there is a 600hp twin turbo escalade... and a 525hp unibody silverado with ss badging? who know maybe for the 2004 model year they will produce one of these.. although unfortunately i don\'t think that the s-10 will make it because of the fact that the 2003 is the last model year for our beloved truck then comes the ass ugly \"colorado\" that has the same platform and strait 6 as the trailblazer that will be replacing the s-10. so please everyone out there that has a s-10 please take good care of them when i\'m old and senile i wanna see some around still i love these trucks and i\'ll never forget all the good time behind the wheel at the track but i\'m out just thought i\'d point out that chevy does have the potential to make some bad ass trucks

well yea the 345hp is the luxury edition, but they make a special edition reg. cab, reg wheel base, 395hp. with a t56 6 speed trans, and tahoe 5 link rear suspension
