Clattering Noises from Rear End :(

Guys when I go around a turn and sometimes while just going over bumps I head chattering/clanking noise that come from the rear end of my truck. And no its not a locker making the noise because it has a open diff. I could be very wrong but it almost sounds as if its coming from the drums. Any help would be appreciated!

sorry dude... your rear-end is dying. you need to stop driving it and it may be rebuildable... however, i would swap it out for a larger rear. dan

get a 9 inch

take the cover off and weld like crazy... it might hold togather for a while... just check the ring and pinion for any bad wear.. also make sure the spiders aren\'t completely mangles... even fi they are you can weld it and it\'ll be solid bposi... it\'ll get ya untill you can get a new diff put in it

yepp the ring and pinion is going , i had that too i thought it was the brakes but gots worst and later well it broke so take everyones word and gets another one! don\'t drive it or ya be getting towed home http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif
