well i have decided to do a big block..i traded my small block motor for a complete 454ci big block..my uncle says that he make make a set of headers...im using a front motor plate deisgn for the mounts...that way i have more room for the headers...my combo will be...ported heads with 100cc cambers 2.19 intake valve and 1.88 exaust ..850 double pumper with a team -g intake flat top pistons compression should be around 10 to 1..the cam is a small hydralic..either a 285 or 292 degress of duracation with about .580 lift...any bigger and you have turn it more than 6000 rpm..i plan only going to maybe 6000..but more like 5500rpm...this combo should make about 500 horse and a little over 500pounds of tq ...im sure that i will have to put a 9in rear end under the truck ..i will take lots of pictures and take lots of notes and i will post every thing on here as i go....stay tuned http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif
