Has anyone on here used a shift kit with a th350 tranny complete with the lock up? My tranny has the lock up, and everywhere i\'ve read, i\'ve only seen shift kits on the th350\'s without lock up.

Anyways, if any of you have used one with the lock up, can you please let me know if you liked/disliked, etc. And which kit you used?

Thanks

heres a reply over a month later..... The shift kits are like 3 times more expensive. i have a lockup that i didn\'t know was a lockup until i pulled off the pan to install the shift kit and saw a couple wires that weren\'t in the instructions.. I posted about this and i got a few replys like \"the 350 lockup\'s weren\'t shit\" as in they were not strong like a regular th350..... so i got a regular one.

Hmm...

I\'ve talked to a few people about them and so far no one has said that the lock ups are crap. I\'ve got one and i\'m quite happy with it. It saves me some money when i drive it on the hwy. As for shift kits, i still haven\'t decided whether i will put one in or not. I might wait until i come across a cheap/free 700R4 and then do it, but i\'m not sure yet. I don\'t know what\'s going on these days. i may even sell the whole truck. Dunno yet.
