Doin some shoppin online tonite, ran into some nice speakers. Anyone know right off hand what size speaker will fit in the door of a 1st gen s10 without any cuttin?...

i dont believe you can fit any speaker into a door of a 1st gen without \"any\" cutting. If you get a good set of 4x6 for the front, the 4x6 panel\'s that have a 4\" speaker and a tweeter are good. of course i have a blazer and have 6x9 rear speakers, i think the s-10 has a 4x6 in the back also? someone else help here!

My first gen has 4\" in the dash and 4x10\'s in the back..but its all stock in a reg cab.

I have 4x6 front and 4x10 rear. The thing that sucks is that they dont mount to anything metal, they mount to the plastic. So any really good speaker is heavier and can move around some. I rigged mine tighter, but you never know.

Eclipse makes a good 4x10. I dont know what speakers you are looking at, but just about anything is better than stock
