Manual Tranny

I just got an old farm truck for nothing and hauled out the 78 GMC 350 with the manual tranny attached. Does anyone know which manual transmissions will fit the conversion (i.e. line up with the shift hole and allow speedometer cable hook-up). you really dont want to use that tranny ..because it is out of a truck...a tranny thats out of a truck is geared a lot different than one that came out in a car....i mean really really low geared and the trannys out of a car are not as low geared...have you ever heard people say a car 4 speed or truck 4 speed///thats why... http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif
