Damn, you sound like me I have fried every 700r4 ive ever had and workin on another one(it\'s almost there) so that\'s 4 700r4 in less than a years time, very sad i give up on em too, from now on im strictly 350/400 or a stick shift.

do you have a kickdown cable on it and is it set right?
i have a 700r and i ran it for a couple days without a kickdown and it didn;t shift worth a shit and it\'ll fry the trans really quick... i also got b&m rebuild kit with b&m 3000 stall... and have my kickdown cable so my enigne shifts at about 6200rpm in overdrive... also the 700r\'s are not meant to be shifted manually it\'s hard on them i reccomend setting your kickdown cable so that it shifts where you want it to the 700r\'s are shifted entirely by throttle pressure unlike the th350 and 400 they are also conrolled by line pressure... but i\'ve got about 450hp and i drive my truck incredibly hjard and i havn;t had a single problem with the 700r after putting the b&m kit in it... i fried one without the kit though
