How much are you using? 150 shot. Is it a stock motor or near stock. Because more is not always better. The heads, carb, exhaust etc. have to have the capacity to deal with the added fuel, nitrous. that may be why you are slower. Try the smallest jet.

If its a NOS plate kit, the NOS label goes up. Also do you have a bottle pressure gauge, if you don\'t go get one. if the bottle is to cold, under 700psi all you\'ll be getting is raw fuel and very little nitrous. Works best at 900psi. Get a heater if you can.

If yo dont have guages, definetly get them. Correct bottle pressure is very important. Too little, it will run very rich, and run slower.
Too much will run lean. Cause detonation, and a nitrous backfire. Fuel pressure to the plate is just as important.
As soon as I finish my intake and cam swap, Im gonna finish up my NX nitrous kit.

take off 4 carb nuts, lift carb, put cake dish under plate, spray fuel only, if shoots down or up, you know what to do from there.

Also if you have a siphon in the bottle make sure it points down when the bottle is installed. With the 150 shot the liquid can really gather in the back of the bottle.
If you do not purge, there will be an initial hesitation, maybe 1/2 second.
Also make sure that you did not use teflon tape since that can plug up the holes in the plate.

You need 6.5 pounds or less to work, depending on bottle pressure.

My NX kit calls for 5 psi to the fuel selinoids, and 1050 for bottle pressure.
Without a heater, your bottle pressure is gonna be very low, unless the ambient air is in the mid-high 90\'s
