70s full size truck

anyone tell me what you think a 70s full size step side pickup with a 472 out of a 1970 cadillac fleetwood broughm with a 2 speed powerglide

Well at least it\'s a big block. LOL The only problem you\'d run into is that a powerglide will not bolt up to a Caddy without an adapter.

Save some heard aches and some bucks and just go with a Big Block Chevy.

There\'s a guy around here who has built a number of C10\'s with Cad engines. He uses the Cad turbo400 and has outstanding reliability. They will pull a house on a trailer, but are not much for racing. The engines just weren\'t designed to go over 4000. If smooth and torquey is what you are after, go for it.
