i just installed mine the other day. My truck\'s not actually running, but it\'s all sitting in there like it will when i get it going... The drivers side is the one you need to do some work with. I bent my brake lines way out of the way. The header is not very close to the oil filter at all, no prob there. My firewall was already hacked and beat on when i bought the truck, so i can\'t tell you about that, but i didn\'t touch it much. I only beat a large dent in the heater box on the passenger side to make room for the corner of the valve cover.. got the motor back as far as it will go w/o modifying the trans cross-member. I was not happy with how close the #3 pipe was to the top of the control arm.. so i put 2 washers between each of the motor mount holes and the motor mount on the drivers side, raised it a little. Also did some grinding on the Arm itself. I have the motor slid over toward the passengers side a little too. I\'m using the stealth and 2.8 mounts, bolts through the bottom holes in the stealth mounts. That\'s about it! Maybe mine fit a little tighter than regulars, i bought the ceramic coated ones. Don\'t know how thick the ceramic is, but just telling you that.
