Sorry, honestly i\'d rather talk about v-8s too but plz help anyway. my friend has newer s-10 i think early 90\'s he says it\'s a 2.2 gas but im told they only came with a 2.5 (as far as 4cyl) I dont know, maybe someone else will. Thanx

yes 2.2 for the newer ones, i had an 88 S15 that had a 2.5

the newer body styles have the 2.2 easiest way is to look the 2.5s have the large \"normal\" looking valve cover but the 2.2 has a flat about 1 inch thick valve cover
