OK, I\'ve had the Corvette radiator in my S-15 for 8 years now, and it\'s starting to run a tick warmer than it ever has. 90 deg. here in NJ today, at it was running over 200 on the highway, cooled down a little in traffic with electric fan running constantly. I\'ve been noticing this for a while. Never, ever flushed it. Of course it\'s been drained & refilled quite a few times, engine in & out, mainifold on & off, etc. But never really cleaned or flushed.

So, anyone have any suggestions for a good flush job... Any special tips, chemicals to use, etc.??

There are lots of flush products that work OK on rads if they aren\'t too badly plugged. If it is seriously plugged (doesn\'t sound like it) try a product called Kool Klean. It is basically phosphoric acid, and should not be left in an aluminum rad very long (serious stuff).

You will have to call a company called THE CARE EXPRESS

@ 800-339-3880 and ask for item number # 25133, KOOL KLEAN.

It only comes in the gallon or a case.

Otherwise, use your local rad shop to get it boiled out.

Good luck,
