Page Title (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7913063416&catego ry=33602) would this be a good radiator for a stock 350 in a s10?

That is listed for a 2.8L. The upper rad hose is on a 2.8L is on the right (pass side) and the 350 / 4.3L is on the left (driver side)

The lower hose on a 4.3L and 350 is on the right and the 2.8L is on the left.

The first Rad I had in the 4x4 was the same one as listed. I had a local rad shop close the holes and move the inlet / outlets to the correct sides for the v8. This cost me $65 but I already had the new rad because it was in my blazer @ 2 month before the v8.

IMHO the Corvette and the 4.3 are basically the same radiator. I have both and with them side by side the only difference that I can see is the low coolant sensor in the Corvette one.

In a brass / copper rad you are correct. In an aluminum rad it seems that 1 single 1 inch core is equal in cooling power to a 3 core.

The cooling power would be ok but it won\'t bolt in with out have the necks placemnt changed to accomadtate the 350.

I use a taurs rad that has 2 one inch rows.

I always thought the more rows the better also, and usually that is true,UNLESS, you are using a pusher type fan instead of a puller. I pusher usually will not push enough air through a 3 row. I dunno if the taurus fan will push that much air or not.Someone on the site told me about this. I have a three row standard size radiator with a 16\" pusher. It runs about 180 as long as I am moving and about 210 at a red light.

A lot of the air flow questions seem to be important only if you are marginal on the size of your radiator. My 454 has a 4 row Nascar radiator, a 5 blade non clutch OEM fan, and not much of a shroud. It runs 180 with a 180 thermostat moving or not. The radiator is a Griffin rated for 800 hp. Problem is new they\'re over $500. I got it used for 1 race for $180.

Had to do some major surgery on the support.
