Everyone is telling me how crappie the holley elect pumps are,and I cant afford the high dollar ones,If I put anymore money in this thing my wife said it better be for installing a mattress in the bed(Of course im thinking something sexual) but she meant I would be sleeping with my truck.About the easiest thing to do would go with a mech pump and return the holley, any suggestions on what kind to run,pressure/gall pr hr? Have 11.1 compr 750 dual feed holley carb, Lunati 515 lift 300 dur on 108 lobe center max rpm would be 6500 thanks for input................

I\'d think one of the edelbrock mech pumps would work well. I\'m running a pretty stout 355 and I\'m just using the \"street\" pump (110gph) with no complaints, other than I had to hammer/grind on the frame a little to make it clear. I know some people are running them in S10s with no clearance problems. Guess it depends on your mounts and which position you have the motor set in.

If you really wanted to go overkill you could use the Edelbrock \"race\" pump. 130gph and requires a regulator. 7-8psi should be max.

I run Holley\'s street (100 gph) mechanical pump and it\'s working fine so far with my 355.

I use the Holley mechanical pump without any problems. Didn\'t have to modify the frame at all. I have never heard amything bad on the holley electric pumps myself.

The holley mechanical can be swiveled to avoid the frame, a friend of mine runs 11\'s with a carter mech pump, so it can\'t be that bad. I have the holley 110 mech but the engine doesn\'t run yet so I can\'t tell you in terms of first hand experience.
