another v8

today i found a deal....a running completed ready to drive on the street v8 s10 pickup shortbed. straight body and no cancer. after $2000 i own it. do i need it?????? NO but who cares.



after i wrecked my fullsize i figured i need something i can get in and out of that is decent on gas. i could not pass this one up.



it has a very small 265 with 305 heads and mild cam in it but it is still a v8. also a 350 turbo tranny.

obviously things are going to change as far as the engine is concerned. i have found another 400 looking for a home. no hurry though. i still need to get my blazer on the road before i do anything else that would be too drastic.



the truck has a few issues but i can overcome those. it is pretty quick for such a small motor

265 or do you mean 267? The 265 never came with provisions for side mount motor mounts. I\'d bet you have a later 267 myself. But then what do I know? http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

Wow, yeah....haha, thats a small motor, but nevertheless, it has the correct amount of cylinders. Way to go

no matter what size right now it is a v8. i think it is a rebirth of Bohn33\'s truck. some of it is almost identical to the 1st gen he had.
