Im running a 16\" flex fan on a 350 with 370 hp, and stock 350 mounts. Am I covered as far as cooling goes?

I would say nope, I have the same motor but with two 12\" e fans with edelbrock h20 pump and 160 stat with 4.3 aluminum rad and still runs 200 on the highway and even hotter in town.

I run a 17\" flex, with a dual core taurs rad. I live in NY where the temps aren\'t as extreme as where you listed your from - FLorida. More than likly you will have to go bigger with the fan and also a fan shroud.

I am using a 16 in flex fan and 16 inch electric pusher. I have the pusher wired up so it will only come on at 190 degrees. It hardly ever comes on. I havent driven it much since I put this set up in, but it seems to be doing really well. I also have a 160 degree thermostat and a full size 3 core radiator. The radiator is moved way forward. I am building a shroud for it today.I will post pics soon, but it may be a while. Some SOB stole my digital camera.

Thanks guys. I like the idea of the secondary electric fan triggered to come on at 190 or whereabout. I also like the idea of the Ford Taurus radiator. Thanks

you also may want to switch your anti freeze mixture from 50/50 to 40-45 antifreeze/60/55 water. this will drop your temp a few degrees. water is a better cooler it just doesnt have the anti corrosion abilities that anti freeze does.
