I see in the Jeg\'s and Summit cat that a Griffin radiator 27 1/2\" X16\" is the same size as the Corvette radiator. Has anyone or is using this radiator. also will this fit in the forward position? I\'m running the short h2o pump so the forward position dose not have to happen. I just thought a shroud would fit in the normal position and creat better air flow. thanks for your input. The goof

I bought the radiator you describe from a retired circle track racer on EBay. Mine has 2 rows of 1.5\" tubes. The engine it is cooling is a 355 SBC with about 350 HP. It will idle all day at a max. of 200 degrees. I use an 18\" flex fan and have a high flow moroso short water pump. There is also a heavy duty trans cooler in front of the radiator. I am very satisfied with this radiator. I only paid $90 for it.

I also made a custom fan shroud for it. It cooled much better with the shroud than without it. I think I have some pictures of it in my photos on this site. I also put the radiator in the forward position. It fits in there about perfectly.

Wow. I was just wondering the same thing.Here\'s a link to it on Jeg\'s site. (http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=21272&prmenbr=361)

I measured my core support today and it looks like it will fit in the forward position with some minor massaging. The shroud should fit fine, but you won\'t be able to use the factory mounts to hold the radiator (forward position or not). Also, from what I have found, the Griffin radiator is actually a little smaller than the Corvette one. I\'m going to buy the Griffin one as soon as I get back from vacation. I\'ll let you guys (and gals) know how it goes.
