Am I going to need stiffer springs and shocks in my 2000 2.2 5sp Xtreme? I\'m going to do a V-8 Swap, and I\'m going carburated. I\'m not using an aluminum block or anything.

in a old body tuck, i used the 4 cyclinder springs that came with the truck, 8 years later, still ok. JTR seem to be against this, but i think they go a little over kill

My truck is an 85. I still have the 4 cylinder springs. It does alright but if i hit a bump at any speed the front end bounces quite a bit. I don\'t know what springs i am going to try to put in mine but I am going to change them. The old ones just ain\'t stout enough for my liking. Anybody know of any good springs that will work?

Are the 4.3L\'s springs a direct fit? I figured those would work.

I used springs from a V8 Camaro. Got them from Autozone for thirty-eight bucks. Part #FCS5662S
Exact same size as the S10 springs. Just a little beefier.

My original 2.8 springs have never been touched, 22 years later, and 8 of those years holding up a 350, and the ride height is fine.
