I got a sweet deal on some tall valve covers. They are the aluminum, black crinkle with red chevy across the top. I do not need tall covers for my engine, but I could not pass on free. Will there be any problem with using them on my engine?

There shouldn\'t be. The only possible problem would be the brake booster, but on mine that won\'t be a problem.

I am changing to manual brakes so it should work. I\'ll swap them out when I get a deal on the correct covers.
Thanks,wild85.

I have short valve covers, but have a tall valve cover cut out to adjust valves, the passenger side I couldnt get on because of the heater box. It used to have air but I converted to a non air setup,With air I think you have to notch and fill the box...

I have tall valve covers on my truck and they fit with no problem. Power brakes, no AC.

All my firewall has on it is the manual brake master and the steering shaft. Except for the MSD unit, nothing else is going on it.

I don\'t need tall valve covers but I use them. I really prefer the look.

Sounds like the valve covers I got. I don\'t think I got quite the deal you did though.... Think I paid $100 about 4 years ago.... http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_frown.gif
