How do I connect the brake peddle to the master?

I am switching from power to manual brakes and I need advice on how to do it. I thought about using the same master, but without the booster. I can fab the master to the firewall, but what do I do for the peddle and rod? I guess I could fab the rod too, but it scares the $hit out of me.

why do ya wanna go to manual?I think the rod will be adjustable enough to work without the booster.Never went that way.

I want to go manual to keep it clean and give me room for future additions to the engine. I want to put different heads abd , some day, a blower.

The rod gets snaped into the master on manual brakes.

Buy a new master. They are not that expensive. It should come with the rod. Napa should have one on the shelf.
