Does this make sense?

I took two leaf springs out. I now have one leaf spring pluse the bottom one that is half as long, but twice as thick. I think all it does is support the leaf springs when they are under load. I also added a 3\" block to drop it farther.



I believe I now have a 4\" drop. Will I have enough springs in the back and will I now be too low?

I originally only had 3 leafs total, then I left just the main one and the load leaf, which is the bottom one, and that was a 3\" drop.

Does that mean I have a 6\" drop? If so, I will take the blocks out. Do you still use it that way? What should I toque the u bolts to? 70 lbs?

I took out the overload spring(the thick one on bottom) and used a 4\" block for a total of 6 kept all other springs....rides great ......have p275 size tire...just tighten the ubolts, never torqued mine,I have been driving combo for over 4 yrs no probs.....need to adj pinion angle though....still need to do mine lol ,,,might put some lock tite on for piece of mind
