more trac bars

hey, i had a brainstorm-



i got lakewood universal bars, and ws thinking about welding them to the shock plate (spring plate) to make them a little better. any thoughts? any help will be appreciated http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif

Go one step farther sell them and buy some square or rectangular tube and make them reach the spring eye then either weld to original plate or better yet make a new plate too.Going to spring eye will help push frontend up and plant rear tires for better traction http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_cool.gif

There was a guy on ebay selling a set like what you are saying. Just rectangukar tube welded to the stock shock mount, looked okay to me.

I think if i use the lakewod bar, it will reach the eyes. thanks guys

I bought a pair and put them on. I do not have it on the road yet, but they look good. They look easy to make.
