I have an 83 s15 extendacab without any suspension mods. What is the biggest 15 inch tire that I can install on the truck without doing any mods. Can anyone help me out or give me a webpage to visit to find out?

Thanks

You can go way bigger than 235/60 up front. I had a 6\" drop up front, and no rubbing with those.

I\'m looking for street tires not off road. I am also looking for both wide and tall. Thanks http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

I had 255/70\'s on the front of my blazer before I lowered it. I dont\' think you can go too much wider, without having it stick out of the fenders. Maybe a little wider, but little shorter.

i\'ve got 225/50r16\'s on the front... theyre about 8\" wide and 26?\" tall? and there on stock camaro iroc 16\" rims and i have no rubbving problems... i\'ve seen guys run 18\'s on them and have no problems, i even saw 20s on one but he said he had to do a few mods... i would guess anything within that 28\" tall would be alright... thats gettin big for the front though... i rerally like my 16\" iroc wheels, they look sweet and are cheap used, i\'d check em out... but if you do i\'d reccommend trying to get all 4 front wheels off of two different cars.. they are backspaced different and the back ones sit in too far and rub on the inner wheelwell\'s if tyou put anything bigger than a 225/50 on the back

but i\'ve got 255\'s on it now and not a single problem they have about 1.5\" room on the inside and out

i remember seeing a tire size chart in off-road mag that stated with an s-10 blazer you can go up to 31\'\' tall without mods, and any width at that height. at 33\'\' you need fender trimming and any higher needs fender trimming plus suspension mods. my 89 4x4 fits 31\'\' with no probs., and i\'m willing to bet the rear suspension is identical, someone please correct me if i am wrong. but 31\'\' should be taller than you need to go anyway. hope i helped

4x4\'s are taller from factory. And, you can always crank on the T bars to lower or raise it a bit.

On my 1984 2wd long bed I\'m running 30x9.50s with no mods. I\'m going to run 31x12.50s up front with 1.5\" of lift and 31x12.50s out back stock. If I go bigger, cut out flares and 33x12.50s

I have a \'94 Jimmy with 265/50/15\'s on 8\" 200S\'s on the front. They rub a little at full lock but they look good. I bought it that way. It has 305/50/15\'s on 10\" rims on the back. Rear is narrowed 2\" (12 bolt).
