Decided it was best to can the clutch fan after it ate through my brand new radiator. I have a 16\" perma cool electric fan which advertises about 2000-3000 cfm I would like to use, will it work as well or better than the clutch fan? or would it help if get another fan for both sides of the radiator? I have a mild 350 with the one core Corvette radiator.

I just installed my Flex-0-lite trimline dual 12\" electric fans. I got the one with a thermo to turn it on automatically. I am using the stock 4.3 radiator, and it covers the radiator perfectly. It turns on a 175 degree\'s, and will hold at 180 degree\'s. Sat in the drive for a good 10 minutes at 180.

Here is friggin problem. I drive in town and in stop and go never getting over 30 mph and the damn thing runs a steady 180. I speed up to 55 or faster and the god damn thing gets hotter. If i get up to 70 the frigger runs 210. I am so frigging pissed. WTF!!!!!!!

my gets a little hotter at higher speeds, i am running a turbo 350 tranny, 3 gears just don\'t do it for the highway speeds, high rpm\'s=heat.

sometimes i have to run the fan when on the highway, i usually try and get in clean air if i can.
