i checked my radiator yesterday and it was about half full (or half empty), so i drove it around back and filled it with water then parked it and let it sit over night to see if i could detect dripping. so, i check it again and it\'s back down to half full, so i fill it up again but let the engine run for 5min or so and just watch for leaks or cracks in the hose. but nothing shows. now, i don\'t have a cap on the resevoir, so is it possible that when the engine is on, the water just evaporates? http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif

not that fast! check your oil see if you have any water on your dipstick? also check down where the rdiator sits. do it in the morning before you drive it. see if it just leaking on the radiator support and not dripping on the ground.

I\'m gonna guess and say that maybe it wasn\'t HALF empty, it was COMPLETELY empty. You filled it up, and overnight the fluid worked past the thermostat, etc. and then the next AM it was really half empty.
........ But where did it go? http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif ZR1 has some logical thoughts on the matter...
