It has the stock leaf springs under it. Its a 88 s10 blazer. What could be causing this? Its not massively noticable sag but its there. I suspect the leaf spring slowly giving out but am not sure. Is it time to put some new ones under there? Are they any good after market ones that won\'t jack up the rear end higher than the front?

Thanks,

Howard

You may have a broken leaf. If you are or were using traction bars I would bet that would be it.

A bunch of S-trucks have \"The Lean\". I think it\'s a combination of having the driver and the gas tank on the same side and putting more stress on the driver\'s side suspension. Just a theory though. My \'98 Sonoma ZQ8 had it and it fixed itself when I put 1\" drop blocks in the back. Don\'t ask why, but it did.

Mine had (has but less ) it. i cut the springs on the front (go ahead with the ricer jokes) and evened it out that way. i tried everything in the rear to fix it. i removed 2 leafs, and swapped the springs side to side, but i still had the lean. after doing the front springs, it is better, but still there. good luck, and let me know if you find a fix!

I\'d think that nothing short of completely replacing the springs will fix it, and it\'ll be temporary at that. I\'m hoping the fuel cell in the center of the bed will make a difference on the \'85.

I think the cheapest fix for right now is getting my dad to ride with me cause he weighs alot more and it evens it out. Other than that new springs in the back guess.

Cheap, but remember that every 100 pounds is worth a tenth of a second!

I was told by Belltech that all S10\'s will lean if ya lower em. I spent a load of bucks tryin to get mine level. Only after I called them did I get it right. They have a spacer that goes on top of the drivers side front coil that straightened mine right up. Cost?....11 bucks...

Mine used to lean to the right, I ended up having a broken leaf. I lowered my truck by removing the center leaf from both sides, and now both sides are within 1/4\" or less.

Most vehicles actully lean to the left. Only on some it is more noticeable.

If you were to go to a parking lot and randomly measure ride highet you will notice a trend.

Back in the day the manufactures designed ALL vehicles to lean to the left in the USA. The reason is ... road crown! The lean was intetional desgined in to make the vehicle feel like it was riding level on a road surface.

Have you ever noticed that if you ride on a 4 lane highway in the fast lane it feels like it leans a whole lot more than usuall? Ever noticed that your car pulls left in the fast lane also? Road crown. If you stop on a highway and look at the road you will notice that the center of the road is higher than the sides. They do it so the rain will run off and not create big lake size puddles.

My s10 leans @ 1/2 in the left rear. And the pickup is about the same.

Space.

I have had 3 s10\'s and one jimmy the SS was the only one that didn\'t lean noticeably and that was more than likely because of the different suspension package.

every rwd chevy i have owned leaned to the left. even after dropping my blazer it to leans. i thought something was wrong as well but it didnt lean before i dropped it? also my monte didnt lean when i got it either. then i but on a set of iroc wheels and low profile tires and you could notice a lean in it. then when i dropped it 3\" all the way around it leaned real bad. my 67 short box did the same thing??? and it had coil springs all the way around. i guess it just a chevy thing.
