I need to know what will I have to do to put 15x14 rims and drag tires on my 88S10 rear will they fit or will I have to do a lot of fabrication.the rims have 5 1/2\" B.S. Slicks are 32x14.

Thanks

The Man that has the rims say all I have to do is trim the lip to keep them from rubing and he had them on his 86 short box but I never seen them on the truck I have 15x10 on now and just cant get hooked up.I dont want to get them and not fit and then have to spend big$$ to get them to work. Thanks

Did he have them on an S-10 or a full size truck? I can seee them maybe fitting under a full size but, never under an S-10 without tubbing it. If they were on a full size they won\'t have the right bolt pattern for your truck.

Good luck sir,

Jeff.....

He had them on 86 S10 was told just trim the lip and will fit. Like you I dont see how without tubbing it .What do you have to do to tub it

i think they make complete frame\'s that you can put in place of the rear half of your frame. A cut off and weld-in deal, then modify the fender wells of your box and the floor of the bed to match the frame. way too much work, lol. no honestly, if your good with a welder and stuff it\'s probably not that hard, but it\'s not something i would do, it\'d be way overkill for me at this point.

32x14\'s are gonna need tubbed. You will need to narrow the rearend also. No other way a tire that big is gonna fit I know a guy back home that has that size on a full size and they stick out 6 inches at least. It looks like crap and everyone makes fun of him. If you are not familiar with what tubbing your truck involes then I wouldn\'t sugest you try to do it. It is going to take a lot more power to turn them tires. I would pass on the rims and tires and work on your suspension to get your truck to hook. There are people I know of running 11\'s on a 10.5 tire with the s-10.

10 is the biggest you can go, still tucking and not rubbing. Maybe 10.5-11, with some fenderflares. You will not fit a 14\" wide rim without sticking out many inches.

Take a look at my pics to see what you have to do to fit 15\" x 14\" wide wheels in the back of an S10. It can\'t be done without narrowing the frame and tubbing the fenderwells.
