Alittle different subject here, hope nobody minds. I admit i love video games, i only have race car games though, non of that kiddy shit for me. But my PS took a shit and i\'m looking to buy something new, whats better the X-Box or the PS2? I know the X-box is able to hook up online and play against other people, which i like, nothing better than to do some road race ass kicking against other fellow gear heads. But it costs more than the PS2, both play DVD\'s. Anybody have a personal favorite, there both on sale so it would be a good time to buy one now.

I had a PS2 and I had Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec for it and I played that game for a month and never got tired of it. It is super realistic! However I think being able to get on the internet would be nice!

i would go with the ps2, since it will play all your old ps1 games. ps has always had the most games and will prob stay that way with ps2

I would not trade my XBOX for nothing. My ps took a dump and I just bought the XBOX and I am impressed. I do not think that Microsoft will be going under anytime soon. Rob

PS2, and get ATV Offroad Fury 2 because you can play it online. And it can play DVDs.

some may say that ps2 will/does have more games, but they\'re forgetting that microsoft makes the xbox, meaning its a household name. and it just came out so games will be coming out for a long while. and also xbox has WAY better graphics and sound than the ps2. doesn\'t compare to pc, but its pretty damn good. goto best buy or something and test \'em out.

i\'d never give up the ps2... there isn\'t many good racing games for the other systems and gt3 a-spec is just plain old sweet

i have them both and i would have to say that the ps2 is the best and as far as i\'m concerned will always be the best. the x-box is good but you have to buy every little thing seprate. witch sucks. you say they both play movies but you have to buy adapters for the x-box to do that. there will always be more game for the ps2, then the x-box, but like you said that microsoft insn\'t going under soon.

I\'d say go with the PS2 for these reasons:



The X Box is large and bulky



The X Box controllers are also large and bulky and very uncomfortable to play with.



Plu I saw PS2 at Wal-mart two days ago for 149.99....

XBOX all the way. I wouldnt trade mine for any other game console. They kill ps2 with the graphics and are getting new games all the time, which in most cases the XBOX gets all the games that the Playstations do, plus more. And the two games that the XBOX comes with....One of them, Sega GT 2002 is like Grand Turismo but better cars and of course better graphics. The other game i dont know about...dont really care.
