i went to my local performance shop today to get a cam for my winter beater (1980 caphttp://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/smileJap.gif with a 305) the stock cam in it right now is rounded off and i asked for a stock chevy 305 cam, they gave me a cam that looks massive and i calculated the valve lift at .525!!! i dont think thats a stock 305 cam... the funniest part of all is that i only paid for the stock cam kit, i knew something was goofy when i opened the box and saw ROLLER LIFTERS!!!!!!! and huge lobes so i just had to check... but anyway now have plans NOT to tell them and put it in my truck in the spring when i put my edelbrock e-tec heads on, i just thought i\'d share this moment of luck with everyone
