which muffler should i use if i want it to be quite threw all rpms. i dont want it loud. i want a sleeper s10. please help me on this

i was thinking thrush but they blow out to easy. i like the sound of flowmasters but they get loud in the top end so i dont know please help me. nick

If you want quiet and aren\'t worried about having more than normal back pressure, stick on a stock muffler of some sort, don\'t get quieter than that.

yeah i know all about stock mufflers but i want a deep low tone. iam doing 3 inch single.

try a 70 series flowmaster, i think it is the quietest.

I\'ve got a pair of 2-1/4\" Dynomax Turbo mufflers. Very quiet. Like $29 ea. Do they make a 3\"? dunno.

i would but i had a pair on my 67 4x4 dodge. they where on it for i think 2 years and they blew out. that is the reason i dont want to use turbo mufflers.

I used a set 70 series(Big Block II) to quiet my truck down. It was great, I could mess around with my truck and not have everyone for 3 blocks know!

After alot of searching and asking, everyone seems to reccomend Hemi Super Turbo\'s from Dynomax...They are the same internally as their Super Turbo\'s, (the ones that outflow Flowmasters) but the case is longer for more sound dissipating ability...They are supposedly VERY quiet, but I haven\'t ran them personally...

i think i might have found a muffler in jegs the part # is 289-17789 they are the dyno max muffler i think it would work like i would want. if you people have any suggestions abut that muffler let me know thank you guys. nick

I am going to use the Gibson 3\" set.Single muffler and large tail pipe is that enough.

to tell you the truth iam not sure on what i can help you with iam just using single 3\" just because iam making my truck a sleeper. if you ask me you would have to have one hell a small block to run 3\" duals, not only that it would be loud probly to so. i dont know. good luck on that. nick
