Electric window question/annoyance.

Its a 88 s10 blazer with electric windows. The electric window motor died so I replaced it today. That works fine but a old annoyance is back. I also replace the window channels to because they were dry rotted. The porblem is the window hit s certain point either going or down and gets kinda hung and pops loudly then goes down or up. It does this every time. Any sugguestions as to waht is causing this? I am thinking of replacing the bracket that window lift arm slides up and down that bolted to the window. Thats about all I figure out.

Can you take the inside panel off and watch it operate?

Take a look at the gear on the arm and check that bracket. Best thing is too watch it as it is doing it like Indiana said. Make sure all the attaching bolts are tight as well.

Sounds like the \'sisor\' arms are hitting each other when they pass each other. Basicly it sounds like the sisors assemnbly is worn and probubly needs to be replaced.
