im trying to ready my chasis for some spring thrashing and i already removed the leafs becaus i want to launch nice. I know i could have left leafs and used slapers but i dont want to cuz im lowrin my truck and i dont like blocks because there the wrong way performance wise. So at first i wanted to go straight to a 4 link. But now im thinking (more like my walet telling me) instead of choping the back frame off and fabing the rails and buying the 4 link kit i can just put a tube going from rail to rail (with a driveshaft loop) and fab some lader bars going off it. Are there any things i have to wach out for? Any gemoetry angles i have to shoot for to launch good? i know a 4 link has the whole instant center thing, what about the ladder bars ? Has anyone done this or do you know of anyone who has? thanks

pick up a truckin or mini truckin magazine... they have triangulated 4 link kits in them for like 200 bucks... they don\'t require chopping the frame off or anything... and can be used with coilovers or air bags... they also eliminate the need for a panhard bar because of the triangle.. reverse 4 links are nice too becasuse you won\'t have too move your gas tank
