Is it possible to switch out the body panels from a 94 up S10 to a 93 and old er S10 like the front clip? I like the newer look better. I am refering to a 91 Syclone I am getting.

Thanks

I believe the 94 is the \'round\' body style. The 93 is the square, as is the 91 syclone, ANYTHING can be made to work with enough time and labor. If you are skilled at major body work like sheet metal bending and plastic work than I would think ya you could do it. It is definitly not a \'bolt on\' nor it even close. THe door skins would have to be transfred and you\'d have to make the cab sides.

It might as well be a whole lot easier and cheaper to buy a newer body style truck. Alos less time consuming.

But, If people didn\'t build things out of the ordinary, we wouldn\'t be able to see the great works of are by Boyd Coddington, Chip Foose, and Orange County Choppers and MOST importantly all of their helpers and employees.

Space.

Have fun with the Sy, man. My friend has one and it\'s a pretty wild ride. How many miles are on the one you\'re getting? Is it stock or modified? They\'re sweet trucks. Personally, since it has the strong promise of being very valuable down the road, I\'d either leave it stock or make it possible to return it to stock condition. JMO, though.

The one I am looking at is all stock. 60K miles. I wouls upgrade it a little but would always leave it to where I could return it to stock if need be. I wish your friend was closer. I really want to look at one up close before buying one online.

Thanks

I know what you mean. He bought his in Louisiana, sight unseen, from Ebay. Make sure you talk to the guy a lot. The guy in Louisiana told my friend that if it wasn\'t exactly like he described it, to feel free to turn right around and go home, which made him feel pretty good about the whole thing. And the truck was near-perfect. 60k is pretty decent mileage. The thing about Sy/Tys is that you\'re going to have some problems with them, and mileage doesn\'t seem to matter much at all. Check out http://www.syty.net for some information on them.
