Here is a set of Centerline 15x10\'s in the rear with a 295/50/15 tire. All stock rear-end. It is a sportside though.

here is a pic of 11\" wide rims. they are not the right backspacing and has 2\" spacers on them and stick out passed the fender about 1/2\" but the fender flares hide that. if you got 10\" wide rims with the right backspacing and didnt go to wide on the tires they would fit fine
: image will open in new window

i got it to work??? its not the clearest but they are 11\" with 335/35/17 tires. i measured them from end to end and the tires are real close to 13\"s

a 10 with 4 inch back spacing will stick out about 1 inch. get rims with up to 5 inch backing and it will tuck nicely with p295/60r15\'s. this size tire is not very common but you can get them in a drag radial. for the street i use a p275/60r15.

The tires I have on the rear are just cheap pep boys tires. I go through them to fast to put good ones on there http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif

i mhave yokahama st on my daily driver 4.3 ext cab 2 wd . i\'d say there not the greatest in tracktion. there more on longer lasting i can churp them with the automatic. if you want traction get the bfg drag radials father in-law had buick gn smoke show car 9.4 1/8 2.? 60 foot new 255/50-15 drag radial could not even power brake would push front tires. 7.9 94 mph and 1.77 60 foots wow

BFG\'s suck. They\'re better than regular radials, but the MT drag radials are tons better.

Anyhow, on a 1st gen, with no fenderflares/huge running boards, you\'re gonna want a 5.5\" BS with a 10\" rim.

They do fit, and will tuck a good tire even with the fender. Not almost, not just about, but even.
