You guys that are using lowering springs...does your bottom A-frame control arm sit level or is the ball joint end angled up? Did you cut your rubber bump stops down? I have like 1 1/4\" between the cut down bump stops and the main frame...dropped the body about 3\"...I have about 2\" above the tire and the edge of the fender looking straight in from the side. Measuring the stock shocks they like a little over an inch bottoming out. From what I am seeing the bottom control arm sitting level is about as far as I need to go, even with high rate springs. By the way, I bought a 1982 clean short bed regular cab 2.8/auto with air yesterday. Needs a few dash parts.

the lower arm will sit level but another problem is created if you run header, the upper a arm will hit the headers
