Guys, I having a lil trouble. I really want to put a 350 in my truck but I dont want to have to go with the trouble of moving the engine back an inch or so but I want to keep my Air conditioning. Would this be a possible set up...the 350 at the standard location as in not moving it back any, electric fan/fans, and a Vette alum radiator that is in the standard position so I can keep my Air conditioning. Guys I need so answers as soon as posible because I am waiting to order some stuff.
It\'s not a problem to move it back an inch.

Mike, can I see some pics of your truck? I thought I remember see\'ing some of it and I thought it had a carb\'ed 350 if so I got some questions for you. To move it back an inch what do I have to do? I have to have the drive shaft cut an inch dont I and bang out the firewall? I was told that will cost me around 200 bucks. Is there no way that I can have it in the factory position with the vette radiator in stock location (or can it be moved back more with the condensor behind it) and an elec. fan?
Big hammer on the firewall. Most likely your driveshaft should be fine, if you have an extended cab or long bed. If you plan on using a electric fan setup there shouldn\'t be too much to worry about. There are pictures of my truck all over this site. Bottom of every page, hit Sections, there are some pics there, also I just started a new F.A.Q section, that has full color pictures of my truck in detail, I will be working on this the next week or two, should help alot. Is located in the Gallery under F.A.Q. Also on this site is a flash movie of my engine compartment, shows it in pretty good detail, is located on front page or second page titled My S10.

Yeah better go ahead and set the motor back, mine is in the \"standard\" location or whatever, wish i had the extra space but it\'s too late for me now.
