FOUND A WRECKED 93 CAMARO 350 MOTOR AND TRANNY WHEELS AND ALL GUY WILL GIVE ME FOR MY 2.8 OUT OF MY 84 S15 SHOULD I TAKE INTAKE OFF OF 350 AND PUT CARB AND INT ON IT CAN THIS BE DONE EASILY ? AND I ALREADY HAVE MOTOR MOUNT. I AM READY TO GO JUST DONT KNOW WHAT TO GO WITH HERE

93 was the first year of the lt1. you cant just throw on an intake. the heads have a reverse flow system. where the fluid flows backward. now there are intakes out there that are made for an lt1. they are a little pricey but then you can use a carb. but there are still issues with the opti-spark and ECM which you will still need. now the block aint much different then the older style blocks. so you can convert every over as an old style block but if you are going to go through that much trouble and money your best bet is to leave it fuel injected and get the wiring and ECM for it.

yeah and even if you can\'t use the camaro drivetrain and stuff without a hassle, that\'s a helluva deal for your 2.8L engine that is probably just taking up space?? If it would cost too much to use the lt1, you could probably easily trade it or sell it and get an older 350. *thumbs up*

i could try and trade it for a 89 ccamy motor and biuld it like i really want it and find a second truck to \"play\" with
