i can not afford to buy it so i will pisce it together...i have seen roating assemblie for around 2000.00..i have been talking to some engine builders here...they say a stock production 400 will go to 434, but you have to use a small base circle cam and some notching plus a stroker oil pan...

I run a 454 SB, you can buy blocks cheep direct from world. Or you can buy a defective block and get it fixed. depends on the kind of $ that you are working with

Does the World Block (SBC) have the cam raised? (Or crank dropped)http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif And, how long an \"arm\" (stroke) does the SBC 454 have? I\'m just thinking that even with a small base-circle cam, things might be getting tight without other \"adjustments\'\'. Just call me curious.....

It means that everytime you make a post, and someone replys. The website attempts to send out an email to you, letting you know that someone replied to your post.
But since your email address you have registered on this site doesnt work, it bounces back to the sender(Mike/s10v8.com).
To sum it all up: Hes telling you to update your profile with a real working email address http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

Or, on the outside chance it\'s an AOL glitch, just check the box in your \"profile\" so you don\'t get E-Mail notifications sent to you..... since you ain\'t getting them anyway.

I run a 434ci Furious Racing small block. 600 horsepower for 10,000. If you would like to check out the website, it\'s at www.furiousracing.com....they\'re good people.

there is a local guy running a 434 that makes right around 600hp in a 72 camaro. It is brutal and the funny part is he\'s been beating the crap out of it for three years and hasn\'t even taken the valvecovers off in that time. Nicely matched parts and a aggresive hydraulic roller will do wonders for a street engine.

You can get the world blocks for like 950 for the race preped block that has billet mains and it\'s cleaned ready to go. The cam is in it\'s stock location. Stroke you can run a 6.00 rod w/ 3.75 stroke the block is already indexed for big stroke motors. Most of the time it\'s a 4\" stroke with a 5.7 rod. Depends on the engine builder and if you want to spend the $$$ for better parts ect...

I believe the Dart Little M block has a raised cam loction for some monster stroke cranks. I think you could come close to 500cid especially if money is no object.

I\'m a dealer so I get them at cost... Or I will just buy a defective one and fix it. No big deal I\'m certified in welding and master in ASE. I can give you a rep\'s # for your area and they can work with just about everyone on a price

Boy its so nice to be noticed!!!!
I\'ve only been talking about and keeping all abreast of my 421 build-up for a year now, not to mention all the vids and stories I wrote about my T & T sessions.
If I had to do it again, I prolly wouldn\'t go over a 406, at least for me as I\'m looking for maximum effort motors and the problem with even the best 23 degree head can not feed these big cu.in. motors.
Now if you are looking for a badass street motor, but every ounce of power is not required, then go for the grunt. Get the cubes.
This is why I\'m selling my AFR 220s, and going to a set of 18 degree heads for next year. The info is in the classifieds, engine section.
