Angle plugs and 1 3/4\" headers.

I plan on getting the world motown 427 with aluminum heads and they are angle plug. will the 1 3/4\" sandersons work with these heads?

One guy that races at a track close by had angle plug heads. They worked fine except he had to do some dimpling on #1. Im not sure if his headers where sanderson or not though. Doubt this helps much but?
