After I drive my truck and park it in the garage, I get this fuel smell for about 2 days. I have the Russel braided lines from the hard lines to the fuel rail, (I\'m running an LT1) I can smell the gas through the braded lines if I get down close and sniff. It\'s as if the gas is leaching through the hose. It\'s never wet or anything, just smells of gas. Has anyone else had this issue?

Are the braided lines designed for a high pressure fuel injection? My buddy Nova smelled simialer to that and the lines were made for carb set up.

Good question, I never ask, didn\'t know there was a difference so I\'ll do some investigation. Thanks

Also are you running a fuel cell with a breather? Or your charcol canister could be full if your still running the tank from the truck.

Someone else once posted the same problem. I could not find the post. I think it had something to do with fuel leaking into the carb from static pressure in the line when the engine was off. It seems like it was the guy\'s wife\'s Blazer.
