Newb carb question

whats the power differnce between a 4 and 2 barrel carb? I noticed today my carb isnt opening at full throttle and i was wondering how much power i am losing lol.

lets just say a LOT. if youre secondaries arent opening then it\'s not going WOT. i would certainly fix that unless you\'re enjoying the extra gas milage you\'re probably gaining from it http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

Justinsane, do you mean the linkage isn\'t opening it all the way, or do you mean you don\'t see the secondaries opening? Reason I ask is that if you\'ve got a vacuum secondary carb, or air-valve secondary carb, chances are the secondaries won\'t open unless the engine is loaded down. In other words, it\'ll never happen with the hood open, in the garage or driveway. So how can you tell? good question! No easy answer, but there are a few tricks.
