Hey anyone out there got a good setup for the rear so I can hookup in the staight line and also be able to take a corner. I was thinking about doing ladder bars...but from what I understand they stink for cornering. Can anyone give me a litte info on why and what would be a good setup for all around?

Thanks Guys

i\'ve seen some 4-links that have airbags....but they sometimes wont let you run those on the strip, i\'d just do a 4-link with coilovers, panhard bar and a detatchable antiroll bar.

Yeah, 4 link with coilovers is about the best thing going without spending tons of money. The only think I\'d think of better would be an independent rear suspension with coilovers.

Big thick panhard bar too.

Ok so it\'s the 4-link setup. Now should I go with a weld in or a bolt on? I got a buddy that\'s doin a 4-link but it\'s costing him about 3000 bucks to get it all welded up (it\'s a custom setup) but they figure it will cost at about 1000 or more to get a kit welded in. Will a bolt in take the power? or will it break?

4 links are the WORST thing you can buy for the street! And you will probably spend about half your life adjusting them to get the truck EXACTLY where you want it. Ladder bars are more for the street, and don\'t take as long to adjust. 4 links are VERY touchy, you set the suspension up with a 4 link, and put another body in the car / truck besides yourself... its gunna respond differently. Call ANY chassis / suspension manufacturer and they will tell you the same thing because I wanted something suitable for the street, and strip that would give me max traction. Chris Alston\'s chassis works, pre-fabricated coil over ladder bar setup with a panhard bar. you can see the suspension if you click on MY PICS link. .. triangulated 4 links are pretty good.... thery eliminate the need for a panhard bar... camaro\'s have a 4 link type set up right from the factory...they have a panhard bar too... 4 links arenl;t all that bad... they just don\'t aloow for much independant movemwent for each wheel
