Are 1st gen SWB p/u leaf springs the same a Blazer

I\'ve got an 89 swb PU and an 86 Blazer 2dr. I want to swap rear ends. Can I just swap them spings and all?

Measure springs from eye to eye and width if the same swap

the rear end should be the same. but not to sure of the leafs.

Yes, they should be. At least between 1st gen trucks and blazers. They should be the same for 2nd gen trucks, but I think 2nd gen blazers have different springs for some reason.

If the springs are already in place, I think I\'d just leave them where they\'re at and swap rear ends. I think it\'d be a lot easier overall.
