JUST got my s-10 running yesterday, put the exhaust on it took it for a spin and i threw a friggin rod, SO... I am either in need of a mild small block(cheap, spent my last few bucks on the new dual exhaust i am very broke) or have an 89\' ex-cab v-8 4 sale, motor still runs but has slight rod knock in #1 cylinder, has good 700r4, dont wanna sell it but i might have to... Just guess i revved it a lil to high, but not that hard ive put stock small blocks through way more hell than that motor, i babied this motor, oil changes and the whole spiel this motor was supposed to be \"built\" but F -it got to have reliable wheels to get me to school. Guess im gonna hafta buy a cheap lil riceburner for a few hundred bucks IF my boss will give me a cash advance. IT SUCKS BEING POOR!!!!!

Hit the bone yard for an engine and just put it in until you get cash to rebuild the one in there.

Man i feel you now, I just threw a rod in my VERY recently build 383, the number 1 to be exact, bent a few valves, of course ruined the crank, and by some stroke of god(or bad luck) cracked the intake manifold. It will get rebuilt though. I can know where you can order a cheap rebuild kit(crank and all) , but dont sell it man, you\'ll regert it.
