Yes put an H-pipe in it. There are no loses to that hop-up all gains. Such as exhaust will not be as loud. increased Hp and torque. Most guys install it close to the tranny mount. Also for you longtube header guys...take some long collectors(not the ones you can buy at the parts store) run a bead of oil down the outside of the colector with no exhaust on it. start it up run it for 15 minutes. Right where the oil stopped burning cut it and attach your exhaust pipes...Now you got some tuned collectors. i read that along time ago in Hot Rod Mag. Also mount your mufflers as far back from the motor as possible, it wont be as loud.

I agree, I have them installed especially in trucks that do a lot of towing. You\'ll like the results, unless you are one of those people that like to here your cam lope through the dual exhaust.

Vs. true duals, a properly placed H or X pipe will make more HP/TQ. They equal out the exhuast pulses, and improve scavaging. H pipe is better than plain duals, x better than the H.

X can be hard to get in when its tight under the cab. Is a lot easier just throwing a crossover pipe, completing the \"H\"

I\'ve seen a lot of dyno tested X pipes, and in the right place, true duals with an X pipe have made more HP than open headers straight out the collectors.

This is my universal x pipe kit that I got from summit, and fabbed up in my shop.

Any crossover is better than none at all. X > H, but H is easier to install typically
