700 r 4 tranny crossmember

do you have to change the mounts on a stock 96 2.2 tranny crossmember. or will the 700 r4 just bolt right up.

I think you will need a different cross member. mine was good, but it was an 85 with 2.8 and baby 700r4.

What do you mean by mounts? It bolts onto the frame and there is one trans mount in the center. Is that the one?
