I recently bought a windshield knife on the bay. tried to use it last night. first the wire rope handle pulled out of the sleave, and after fixing that, the blade snapped. IT WAS POP METAL! WHAT A RIP OFF! so i contacted the guy, have not heard back yet.

Friday, i won a set of valve covers, paid by paypal, and sent the dude an email. HE HAS NOT EMAILED ME, OR SHIPPED THE ITEM, NOTHING!

i love the bay for what it has, but if you have an auction FOLLOW UP ON IT! It gets real frustrating, this crap happens all the time, and i get tired of it.

Thanks for letting me vent. Am i the only one experiencing this? ( i only deal with morons seems like, but morons with good feed back) Any one else? http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_mad.gif

I hate slow sellers too.. but on the same token, i cant get pissed at them, because im a buisy guy too, and its just as aggrivating for a seller to have to deal wiht a screaming customer 2 days after tehy paid. I always would be very quick with emails. but some people just get unreasonable. Like getting paranoid if i dont respond to the email the day they send it. I understand that it\'s buisness, and you really cant trust anyone. But Everyone has a life outside of ebay, and sometimes things come up, where you cant get to your email that day, or you cant make it to the post office.

Well, i mean i guess i understand, but i sell to, and i send an invoice within 2 hours of auction end. it\'s just good business. i mean, if you bought something from a company you would want it to be handled promptly. and what a lot of ebayers forget is THIS IS A BUSINESS! i hate to sound harsh, but an email is not too much to ask.

I have over 3500 items on Ebay. I dont send personal emails at all to any of the buyers. I dont have time to. LOL. I just let Ebay send their automated emails, and have UPS send an email when it ships.

OK, so i should clarify, this guy has like 3 items, and i sell too, so i know the deal, but does anyone agree with me? what happened to personal service?

well, for slow shipping, i bought a transmission for 200 USD after s&h last january..... it still hasnt come.... the guy actually stopped answering emails.... shortly after his paypal went down (it went down the day before my e-cheque was supposed to clear, but i still sent him a money order)... so i tend to get a little paranoid now and then.... but yeah, if somebody emails you, you should at least take a minute to type a email back...

i\'m 3 weeks now with no payment or e-mail from high bidder. do i give neg feed back and i inreturn get neg feed back or just let it go. sometime ebay sucks, but when i sell something for 4 times what i paid for it oh i love it !!

that is tough, neutral feedback is another option. just a thought

Its wise not to give neg feedback just yet...who ever is having a problem needs to contact ebay there are links to follow just find them...no matter if you are a seller or a buyer, Ebay will contact the other party as to the problem, and give the other a chance to ship or pay
