any one ever put a trany with a manuel clutch peddle instead of hy? and some one poster in a diff form that the c5 in the camaro is farther back?... i dont understand why they would make a trany and change the location of the shifter yet it be the same trany?... cus i was looking at getting a c5 acording to my budy that just put his in a camaro he meshured 16 inches from the front of the trany to the shifter.... meaning its about the same distance as the trany i pulled out how would i end up under the bench seat?....

i don;t think there\'s a difference in the length of the tranny or antyhing the shifter should be in the same place... and your talking about a T5 right?

a c5 is ford tranny

The camaro T5 is further back than the s-series T5. The s-10 stick is in the middle, and the camaro\'s is on the tailshaft.

Why would you wanna go manual linkage? I think setting that up in a truck that didn\'t have manual linkage would be much harder then modding the hydrualic linkage.
